Leach Botanical Gardens in MAY

Hello NW Wed Pro’s!

Tuesday’s meeting took place on a beautiful Spring evening. We

couldn’t have asked for nicer weather to view the beautiful Leach

Botanical Gardens and wedding venue. With ample opportunity to

walk the trails, wander the historic house and visit with colleagues,

it was a great event. Thanks to Molly, the events coordinator at Leach Botanical, we enjoyed a wonderful meeting in the dining hall of the Leach House. Molly shared with us the history of the venue and invites ALL to come visit, walk the trails, shoot photography and more.

We enjoyed delicious home-made Tamales provided by Jaime Soltero Jr. of Mayahuel Catering Company. They provide authentic Mexican food and catering service. Thank you Jaime! The tamales and sauces were excellent!

Our guest speaker for the evening was Dotty Scott of Premium Websites. She explained the how-to’s and benefits of Blogging your business. Very informative and a very engaging speaker. If you missed the event or still want more information or help, please contact her.

Saturday June 4, 2011 ABC Bridal Show free to brides “The Wedding Event” is on June 4, 2011 from 10am to 6pm. Visit with over 20 wedding experts. Get a wedding day make over. Learn to make an easy favor. Get ideas for showers, parties, ceremonies, and receptions. “The Wedding Event” is a smaller wedding show. Bridal gowns will be shown bymodels roaming the show. “The Wedding Event” will be at Rock Creek Country Club is located at 5100 NW Neakahnie Ave. in Portland.

Next Meeting of NWWP Network:

Tuesday June 7, 2011 Atkinson Unitarian Church in Oregon City. (Another Tuesday meeting.Venues are able to accommodate us on Tuesdays) This is a beautiful Venue for anyone wanting a historic 1925 church wedding without an affiliation or restrictions, that will also seat 300+ guests.
